I've had an epiphany. We tend to complicate happiness. ✨
We set certain terms and conditions for our lives and end up believing that achieving those would be a way to attain eternal happiness and therefore longevity. 🦚

Isn’t it weird to have to wait for happiness which is actually unconditional and completely free of cost?🌸

Diving into the next book to know the secret of a long and happy life from the residents of the eternally youthful Japanese town of Okinawa.🇯🇵

Do you keep stumbling upon questions in your head, like:
What is the reason for my being?
What is the purpose of my life?
What am I supposed to do? 💭

Ikigai intends to bring you closer to the answers to these questions.
What you love, What you’re good at, What the world needs, What you can be paid for: Your passion, Mission, Profession and Vocation combine to form Ikigai!🌼

And, according to the Japanese, Everyone has Ikigai, Some people might have found it while some are still seeking it.🐚

Japanese being the colorful and vivid language it is, with single words describing an experience or a moment as a whole, it doesn’t have a word that quite translates to ‘Retire’, or rather it’s doesn’t believe in the concept of retiring. 🇯🇵

So what is it that helps the Japanese live long doing what they love?🍂

I k i g a i.✨

The belief that the world is imperfect and a great place for opportunities is what helps them find growth in everything. 🌤
